Help expand Manx Gaelic by supporting another speaker.
Our next evolution in language learning will pair you with another speaker to help develop both your and their Manx Gaelic skills and confidence.
Anyone can become a Mainshter, regardless of skill.
We're always looking for speakers who are able to share some time, at a mutually convenient place and time, with less experienced speakers who are eager to grow their own skills in Manx Gaelic.
You can meet online using technology such as Skype, Google Hangouts, Slack or meet up for a coffee.
You don't need to have a formal lesson plan, your Prindeys (apprentice) may just want to keep their skills going, want to be able to talk to children attending the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh or have a spare couple of hours to meet people.

Can I have more than one Prindeys?
Yes! Grow your Manx Gaelic by talking to different people, each with different needs and interests to leverage different conversational styles, vocabulary or subjects.
Do I have to be an expert speaker?
No! We welcome speakers of all abilities, we only ask that you're slightly ahead of your Prindeys so you can help stretch their grasp of Manx Gaelic and grow their confidence.
